Your generosity is making a big difference in the lives of these bright young students.

College Boarding Pass is committed to its mission to provide resources to students who have demonstrated high academic achievement and wish to visit college campuses for enrollment opportunities but lack the funds to travel and stay overnight.

By providing travel scholarships to these students, CBP and its donors are positively impacting the lives of these students, their families, and the communities through which they engage.

With each scholarship, we inch closer to our vision of a day when all academically qualified students from low-income backgrounds will have equal opportunity and access to higher education.

“The CBP scholarship gifted me the wonderful opportunity of visiting Howard University, cost free. While there, I connected with students and faculty who showed me what Howard was all about. I really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and all of the information about what to expect and what would be expected from me as a student. I also met with the directors over a STEM scholarship specific to Howard that I’ve applied for, which allowed them to put a face to my name. I’m very thankful I received this scholarship, as it has made me more confident in my college decision.”

“Thanks to the CBP scholarship I was given the momentous opportunity to travel to Ithaca, NY and visit both Cornell University and Ithaca College. Visiting Cornell University was great reassurance that Cornell is the right choice for me, I was able to meet a student with similar academic interests and learn about unique opportunities that appealed to me. I also was able to communicate with the director of admissions, telling him about myself and learning how he viewed me as an applicant. The trip was reassuring in both teaching me my standing and reaffirming my desire to attend Cornell.”

“Being at Georgia Tech, I experienced life as a student. During our campus tour, I interacted with students and faculty members regarding their personal experiences at the university. I gained better insight as to what the campus has to offer specifically for me. After my tour, I met with a BRYC college fellow named Bethany. Being physically on campus helped me better understand what Bethany spoke about as a first year student. The CBP scholarship allowed me to experience Georgia Tech in a way I could have never done through a computer screen. And for that I am forever grateful.”
