College Boarding Pass works with established college readiness organizations to identify students who are the best fit for our scholarships.
Our ideal candidates are college bound high school seniors with outstanding academic achievement in spite of financial adversity. Candidates should take rigorous courses such as AP, IB or Honors (if available) and rank in the top 30% of their graduating class, with standardized test sores above 1200 and 25 for SAT and ACT, respectively. They should come from households that earn less than $65,000 a year for a family of four.
At present, we do not recruit directly, and therefore do not have a formal process in place to receive and review applications. Candidates should take rigorous courses such as AP, IB or Honors and rank in the top 20% of their graduating class, with standardized test sores above 1240 and 26 for SAT and ACT respectively. They should come from households that earn less than $60,000 a year for a family of four.
